Friday evening: 5:00pm - 7:00pm AMVIV5 Meet The MINIacs Mixer presented by the Sin City MINI Club in the Palace Station Convention Center. This incorporates the 2nd annual AMVIV MINI Photography/Art Show. Cash bar. Saturday evening: 6:30pm - 10:00pm AMVIV5 Banquet Dinner in a private room at Palace Station. Cash bar, buffet style meal and no need to drive home after a few drinks, thus avoiding risk to the MINI or your license. Sunday morning: 6:30am - 8:00am AMVIV5 farewell breakfast on the top floor of the parking garage at Palace Station. Tickets can be purchased with your event registration.
Group DrivesThursday morning: 8:00am - 4:00pmGet your kicks on Route 66 Run. Cross Hoover Dam in the morning on the way to historic Route 66 and Oatman, Arizona. The roads are fun and even the Interstate sections are kinda fun. Thursday afternoon: 1:00pm - 4:00pm North Shore Drive. Drive down the rural Moapa Valley and through the rugged desert of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Friday morning: 8:00am - 1:00pm (ends at the track at Pahrump for lunch) Death Valley Run. A fun route through some of the most desolate and deadly land in the US. The roads are great fun and you get to stand more than 200 feet below sea level. This run ends at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch for lunch and round 1 of the North American MINI Cooper Challenge. Friday afternoon: 1:00pm - 3:30pm Red Rock Run. Take the 13 mile scenic drive through spectacular vistas and watch out for the wild burros. There is a $5 per car park entry fee, which you can pre-pay with your registration or at the gate. Friday evening: 9:00pm - 10:30pm Las Vegas Strip Cruise. Last year we had over 270 MINIs and Minis on the Strip in a group. Can we hit 400 this year? Saturday morning: 9:00am - 12:00pm (last car leaves at 10:00am) Aces High Poker Run - leaves from the Boot 'N' Bonnet Show, ends at Palace Station. Last car departs at 10am. Prizes to be awarded at the banquet. Winners will still receive their prizes even if they don't attend the banquet. Saturday afternoon: 1:00pm - 4:30pm Motor Up Mount Charleston. With snow on the ground and a chill in the air, the run up the mountain offers fantastic views and the colder air that your MINI loves, and Deer Creek Road is wonderfully twisty. Sunday morning: 9:00am - 12:30pm Blast off to Nelson's Landing. An easy run towards California and Arizona on "roller-coaster" roads with the opportunity to tour a real gold mine at the Techatticup Mine.

The Shelby Museum takes you on a tour of the actual place where these cars are designed and built. It is a free tour starting and ending in the showroom containing some of Mr Shelby's personal collection. Friday: 9:30am The Shelby Automobile Museum - you have heard of Carroll Shelby, the man behind the Shelby Cobra, Shelby Mustang and many other classic pieces of American muscle. The Shelby Museum takes you on a tour of the actual place where these cars are designed and built. It is a free tour starting and ending in the showroom containing some of Mr Shelby's personal collection. Friday: 2:00pm The Imperial Palace's Auto Collection. Come and see over 250 antique, classic, muscle and special interest automobiles in the world's largest on-display collection. Non AMVIV Vegas ActivitiesAt the Boulder City airport, WWII Warbird Rides will be operating, giving you the chance to take to the air (and take the stick) in an SNJ fighter plane.
